Mantan Jenderal AS pun Kagum dengan Militer Indonesia

Pukul 04.00 WIB atau jam 05.00 waktu Texas, USA, ada suatu yang istimewa dalam acara Talk Show di TV ABC 13 Texas.


Acara tersebut bekerjasama dengan Universitas Dallas Texas. Karena dalam wawancara tersebut dihadirkan narasumber yang cukup kompeten. Tapi yang menarik acara tersebut justru menyangkut militer Indonesia.

Talk Show di TV ABC 13 Texas menghadirkan para Jenderal purnawirawan USA dan Inggris. Tapi ada seorang mahasiswa Universitas Dallas bertanya tentang penempatan Marinir USA di Australia.

Maka jawaban dari Jenderal tersebut cukup mencengangkan buat pemirsa semua.

Apa penempatan US Marine berindikasi akan serangan USA ke Indonesia suatu saat nanti ?

 

 Jenderal Peter Pace : "Saat ini ada 3 besar kekuatan Marinir dunia dan Indonesia berada pada posisi ke-2 dunia. Penempatan US Marine hanya untuk Stabilitas kawasan di Asia Tenggara"
Jangan bermimpi USA berencana menyerang Indonesia meski USA pimpinan NATO. Tidak pernah terpikir oleh pemimpin USA untuk menyerang Indonesia.

Presenter TV ABC 13 Texas, Hannah, menambahkan pertanyaan :

USA pernah terlibat konflik di kawasan Asia Timur dan Timur Tengah, kenapa Indonesia begitu diperhitungkan ?

Jenderal Tommy Franks : "Kita pernah punya pengalaman pahit di Vietnam dan Korea, dan semua pemimpin USA sadar siapa dibalik ke 2 negara Asia yang pernah terlibat konflik dengan kita. Indonesia adalah guru bagi Vietnam dan Korea Utara saat berperang melawan USA"

Jenderal Peter Pace : "Kita sering berlatih dengan Indonesia, kita sadar bagaimana kemampuan pasukan khusus Indonesia, pasukan kita sering kewalahan dalam setiap latihan perang dengan Indonesia"

Jenderal Tommy Franks : "Saat operasi pembebasan sandera di pesawat yang dibajak di Bangkok Thailand, Delta Force memantau operasi tersebut, tapi yang tidak dimiliki oleh pasukan negara lain dalam pendidikan pasukan khusus adalah. Anda akan terkejut bila mendapati satu mata pelajaran yang takkan didapat di pendidikan elite militer manapun, yakni pendidikan menaklukkan makhluk halus"

Jenderal Mike Jackson : "Doktrin militer Indonesia sudah dipakai di beberapa negara Asia bahkan Afrika karena Indonesia memang diminta melatih beberapa negara Asia dan Afrika. Meski Indonesia kekurangan senjata tidak mungkin mudah menaklukkan Indonesia karena jika perang terjadi bukan hanya militernya yang maju perang tapi rakyatnya juga pasti turut membantu untuk menghabisi lawan.

SAS sudah pernah merasakan saat berhadapan dengan aliansi tentara Indonesia dan rakyat indonesia. Jadi jangan pernah anggap ringan dengan Indonesia". Ungkap Jenderal Mike Jackson.

Seorang mahasiswi juga bertanya tentang kekuatan Asia dimata Militer Internasional ?

Jenderal Mike Jackson : "Indonesia dalam waktu dekat akan jadi sebuah negara yang militernya sangat besar dan sulit tertandingi"

Jenderal Peter Pace : "Indonesia memiliki semuanya dan kalau itu diopersionalkan maka Indonesia akan melampaui India dan Cina dalam perkembangan militer"

Jenderal Tommy Franks : "Sebagai orang yang pernah memimpin pasukan khusus, saya tau banyak rahasia teknik militer yang tidak ditunjukkan dalam latihan perang bersama. Kalau saat ini banyak negara terutama yang tergabung dalam NATO mengadakan hubungan dagang militer dengan Indonesia, itu sebuah kebijakan yang tepat, karena kalau tidak akan sangat membahayakan posisi NATO di Asia, karena Indonesia memiliki konsep Non Blok. Kedepan saya harapkan tidak ada sanksi atau embargo yang dijatuhkan kepada Indonesia, karena itu dapat menimbulkan kerawanan dikawasan Asia terutama Lut Cina Selatan. Untuk urusan LCS, Indonesia adalah kunci kita. Kalau USA tidak berhati-hati memegang kunci tersebut maka dampak besar akan dirasakan oleh sekutu kita dikawasn itu"

Dalam akhir acara Jenderal Tommy Franks mengungkapkan "Ada 1 pasukan khusus Indonesia yang jarang mengadakan latihan bersama yaitu AU. Pasukan khusus AU Indonesia adalah satu-satunya pasukan dengan kualifikasi Korps Pasukan Khas TNI-AU di Asia dan terlengkap di dunia. Meski USA juga memiliki pasukan serupa dalam beberapa satuan tapi kelengkapannya tidak mampu mengalahkan pasukan khusus AU Indonesia". Ujar Jenderal Tommy Franks.

SS2 - Indonesian Assault Rifle

SS2, stands for Assault Rifle 2, was made by PT Pindad assault rifle which, is the second generation of assault rifle PINDAD earlier, SS1. 

SS2 claimed to have a more ergonomic design, resistant to high humidity, lighter, and better accuracy. This rifle uses bullets caliber 5:56 x 45 mm NATO standard and has an empty weight of 3.2 kg, as an early variant of SS1 record has an empty weight of 4.01 kg. In 2006, the Army bought 10,000 rifles SS2.
 
Evolution SS2 
 
Initially available in three basic versions (standard rifle SS2-V1, carbine SS2-V2 and para-sniper SS2-V4) is now also available in subcompact SS2-V5 version, which was introduced in 2008.

In the shooting competition held on May 5 to 16 May 2014 in the Puckapunyal Military Area Victoria , Australia , the Indonesian contingent wearing several products produced by PT Pindad weapons ( Persero ) as an assault rifle SS2 - HB ( Heavy Barrel ) , Machine Gun SM - 2 , and SM - 3 , and G2 pistol Elite version . As with previous years , the Indonesian contingent to follow some material such as the material race individuals and teams , the number of rifles , pistols , automatic rifles ( SO ) and the combined material rifle and SO .In organizing AASAM 2014 , Indonesia had to face a team shot from 16 countries including Australia , Canada , France , Timor Leste , Brunei Darussalam , the United Kingdom, the U.S. Army , U.S. Navy , New Zealand , Singapore , Thailand , Japan , Philippines , Papua New Guinea , and Tonga .  Indonesian Army soldier 1st Sergeant H. Herlansyah is the Champion Shot – International for 2014. He was chaired to the award ceremony by his team at this year's Australian Army Skill at Arms Meeting. The award was presented by Regimental Sergeant Major – Army, Warrant Officer Dave Ashley.

Indonesia managed to get a general title AASAM from 2008 to 2014 and of course , this is a matter of great pride for the nation . For PT Pindad ( Persero ) itself , this achievement is a proof that the weapons were manufactured have a good quality and high accuracy .
